Negotiate Like Your Life Depends On It...Because It Does
Have you ever negotiated a job offer? Or do you always accept the offer as is? Do you lack the confidence to negotiate? Did you know that your future career and financial decisions will be largely based on your income? Everyone should know how to negotiate, whether for a position, resources, time, etc. I believe the number one reason that women don't earn equal pay to men is the failure to negotiate. A recent Harvard Business Review study found that only 7% of women negotiate salary compared to 57% of men. It would be ideal if everyone were offered a fair salary, but that's not the case. I will explain the criticality of negotiating salary whether for a promotion or a new position, especially when you're beginning your career.
So, if you answer Yes to any of these questions, then join me to:
- Learn why negotiating is vital to your career success
- Walk through key negotiation steps
- Learn how to ask with confidence
- Understand the real value in negotiating an offer that will affect your earning power throughout your career
